How it works

- Or send the form with a short description of the problem and your ZIP code, and we pass it to a local contractor in your area.
- The contractor contacts you, looks at the problem and gives you a quote.
- You decide whether to hire them. There is no cost to you for the referral and no obligation to hire anyone.
How we are paid
Our service is free for homeowners. Contractors pay us for the referrals they receive. Because of that, we may send your request to a contractor who works with us, rather than to every contractor in town.
Before you hire anyone
Whoever you hire, check them yourself. Louisville Metro requires contractors to hold a local license, and only licensed contractors or the owner can pull a permit. Across the river, New Albany and Jeffersonville license contractors too. Ask for proof of insurance, get more than one estimate, look at reviews, and get the scope, price and timeline in writing before work starts.
